People in and around Kingston are invited to take part in an early morning action this Thursday. We gather to act in solidarity with First Nations communities across the country, but particularly those closest to us currently enduring attack by our governments, corporations, their police and an indifferent public.
Acting on May 29 to bring light to ignored issues should not be seen as an endorsement of the AFN, but rather as a necessary step toward justice and building stronger relationships with those communities defending their inherent and legal rights to the land and to govern themselves.
After the morning action there will be transportation to Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory for a work day. Bring water, gloves and a hammer if you’ve got them. Returning in the early evening.
